I just want to say thank you to the little girl in the second floor window on Chicago Ave. near the final stretch of the 5K. Her shouting "Go faster! You can do it! You're almost there!" Helped out tremendously. Without her, I may have detoured to Dunkin' Donuts.

This was my very first 5K race as I only started running in June. I was pretty pleased with myself and definately will do this again.

Such a well run, flat fast course. Love running through the neighborhood and especially running by my own house. Will definitely run again!!

My chip time was not accurate and placed me as #2 in the woman overall finisher division. Not sure what went wrong but I finished around 56 mins. Hope the real #2 finisher got credit where its so deserved!

My wife and I just got home to Canada after both racing and enjoying the beautiful course through Oak Park. This was our second year in a row participating in this fantastic event. I have run many races from 5K's to marathons and the organization of this event and your hospitality after the race is second to none. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers, we'll be back next year!

Congrats to all the runners and thanks to the volunteers along the course. No organized run can go off without your help. What a perfect morning. I regret missing the race this year, but did a nice long run w/ my family today to make up for it.

What a great morning, and a special thank you to all the volunteers who took their time a energy this morning to cheer us on huffing and puffing through the streets. As a new resident of Oak park, I can see why you all are so proud of your town, well done!

This race was absolutely fun! Beautiful morning, and great team spirit. I am very appreciative of the volunteers who cheered us on during the run. It really made a difference. I felt so happy to be around people who were so supportive...even just a smile and wave as you passed by makes a world of difference! :) Thank you everyone who organized and participated in this outstanding event!

What a gorgeous day and a great race! The race was (as always) well-organized, well-attended, and a great event for Oak Park. There's just something about running through the streets of Oak Park with friends and neighbors that reminds us what a really special place this Village is!
