Ean Lemont Barnard, 40, of Madison, Wis., died on Jan. 22, 2012. Born in Chicago on June 21, 1971, his early childhood education took place in various parochial schools in the city. He graduated from Percy Julian Middle School and while there, ran for public office (see below). He attended Oak Park and River Forest High School and graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign. He had a zest for education and worked in the educational field.
Ean Barnard is survived by his mother, Anne Franklin; his father, Eddie Barnard; his sister, Keisha Barnard; his nephew, Michael Horton Jr.; and a host of other family members and friends.
Services were private and arrangements were handled by All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Services in Janesville, Wis.

Ean babysat for me as a kid in Oak Park. Very nice young man. Sorry to hear he passed.

I recall Ean ran for local office while in Middle School. Frankly, I think he would have done a much better job then the rumpy-t-dumps we have on the current board in the People's Republic of Oak Park. It is a shame he died so young.
