Trinity pushed its overall record to 14-2 with a 64-41 win over eighth-ranked Vernon Hills in River Forest on Saturday.
The Blazers rolled in the first half, taking a 36-22 lead by the intermission. An 11-0 run in the third pushed their lead to 47-24.
Lauren Prochaska led Trinity with 20 points to go along with her five steals. Mary Dillon had 15 points, while Annie McKenna and Taylor Nazon each contributed 11 apiece.
The Blazers host St. Joseph on Thursday (7 p.m.) before competing in the Sweet 16 Tournament at New Trier on Saturday (1:30 p.m.) and the McDonald's Shootout against Marist at Willowbrook High School on Jan. 21 (3 p.m.).
