Ex-OPRF student back in court

A 17-year-old former student at Oak Park and River Forest High School, facing drug charges, is due back in court on Feb. 8.

Pawel Borowski-Beszta appeared for another status hearing in front of Judge Noreen Love, Jan. 3, at the Maybrook courthouse. According to the Cook County State's Attorney's press office, his next court date will be another status hearing. No further details about his court appearances were available.

Borowski-Beszta faces felony drug and weapon charges for his role in a drug operation run out of a Harrison Street apartment. He was arrested in August.
