The TCF bank in the River Forest Jewel was robbed Sunday, Nov. 30 around 2:30 p.m., the FBI said on a website.

The robber, a black male between 40-50 years old with facial hair and eyeglasses, wearing a flat cap, demanded the teller fill a canvas bag with cash. He fled the bank at 7525 Lake St. with the bag.

The robbery was reported on the www.bandittrackerchicago.com site.

According to dispatchers, the teller slipped a blue dye pack into the bag along with some $20 bills.

The same TCF branch was robbed in October. River Forest police quickly picked up Oak Park resident Derrick D. Roland, 42, near Lake Street and Lathrop. He was charged Oct. 22 with bank robbery.

Anyone with information about Sunday’s robbery can call the Chicago FBI at 312-421-6700.
