We are a nonprofit, nonsectarian nursery school serving the community of Oak Park, Illinois and surrounding communities. We welcome children of all races, religions, ethnic backgrounds and economic situations. Our students represent the rich diversity of the greater Oak Park area.

Our primary focus is a professionally prepared play environment that facilitates the physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth of each child. We strive to encourage each child's uniqueness as well as his/her responsibility to get along with others.

We hope you will take time to come visit our child-centered, play-based program that promotes children's curiosity of learning. See how our children construct their knowledge of our wonderful world. Please call so we can have a chat. Hope to hear from you soon!

Our two kids both spent very good years at Pilgrim. Wonderful, warm, nurturing place. Welcome to Oak Park.

While we were Chicagoans, we were out of state when we decided to move to Oak Park. We chose Pilgrim based on phone calls to the office and crossed fingers. We lucked in to the best possible choice for our family and will feel forever grateful for outstanding program for our girls, the friends and sense of community. The staff and teachers are outstanding and the program truly nurtures bright, young minds. We're looking forward to 3 more years at Pilgrim!
