Oak Park and River Forest High School students were treated to a lighthearted surprise when teachers, faculty, even the district superintendent Stephen Isoye, suddenly rushed the basketball court for a choreographed "flash dance" routine at this afternoon's spirit rally.
Oak Park and River Forest High School is proud to announce that 21 of its students have placed as National Merit Scholarship semifinalists in the 2011-12 program. In addition, one student has earned the distinction of being named a National Achievement Scholarship semifinalist, and three students earned National Hispanic Recognition Program honors – two as scholars, and one honorable mention.
