La Rabida Children's Hospital

La Rabida Children's Hospital is dedicated to caring for children with lifelong medical conditions. La Rabida is a private not-for-profit hospital and provides care without regard to a family's ability to pay.

Volunteers provide needed support on our nursing unit and Child Life. They make our tutoring and Literacy programs possible. They assist in Ambulatory Services and our Information Desk, among other service areas.
Volunteers are asked to make a regular, weekly commitment of 2-3 hours per week. A personal interview, letter of recommendation, appropriate background checks and health screen are required. Completion of our 6-hour orientation program is also required.

Cannot accomodate groups or families.
