Burger Boss' Seasonally Appropriate Turkey Burger

Doing their best to make Thanksgiving ingredients palatable

I like everything about Thanksgiving except the food.  It's wonderful to see friends and family I don't see often enough, share a meal with them, and then sit around listing to everyone make music while we, the less talented, sink into post-feast somnolence.

I even like cooking the meal with my wife and daughters, and sharing what others bring to the table.

What I can do without is the food.

Turkey is probably my least favorite meat, pumpkin is absolutely my least favorite food, and I'm not that crazy for cranberry sauce.

Still, I have to hand it Burger Boss for doing their best to make this seasonally appropriate fare palatable…perhaps even tasty. Their November special is Talk Turkey to Me, a burger of the seasonal bird on a brioche bun. Simply grinding and griddling the fowl meat has to help.  If you're so inclined, you can get a pumpkin shake on the side.

If I were dining solo on November 22, I would likely be at Burger Boss.

As it is, I'm just happy that a friend has promised to bring an aged southern ham to Thanksgiving dinner at our house…so I will have something to eat on Thanksgiving Day.
