Cheryl's Adds to Oak Park's Burgeoning Bakery Presence
Like Crumbs' cupcakes, Cheryl's has basically one product: cookies.

Where once was a Starbucks is now Cheryl’s, which opened just a few weeks before Crumb made its Oak Park debut one block west.
Similar to Crumbs’ cupcakes, Cheryl’s has basically one product: cookies.
All Cheryl’s cookies are priced at $1.60.
Though I am on record for firmly believing it madness to prepare anything other than a crunchy cookie, Cheryl’s variety of this, the most excellent of all snacks, tends toward the soft, which I know appeals to a large portion of the population. (They want soft? Let them eat cake!)
Cheryl’s cookies are made off-site and delivered to the Oak Park location, much like the baked goods at Bleeding Heart. They’re individually wrapped, making them easily transportable in pocket or purse.
Cheryl’s started in a small storefront in Columbus, Ohio, by Cheryl Krueger and her college roommate. Cheryl’s is now part of the 1-800 Flowers Family of Brands, which includes Fannie May and The Popcorn Factory. Score one more franchise for the village.
