For the second year in a row, OPRF is conducting a spring-only check of every family's place of residence. Families are required to bring into the school proof-of-residency documents, such as leases or mortgage statements.

The Oak Park District 97 Board of Education will officially take action on Sam LeDeaux's resignation as Mann principal at around 7:30 p.m. Monday. The district announced LeDeaux's resignation on Friday in a joint statement with the principal and Supt. Al Roberts.
More than $100,000 from the state is coming to two Oak Park entities. Oak Park Public Library and District 97's Multicultural Center will divvy up $135,000 in state appropriations secured by state Rep. LaShawn Ford (8th). Neither organization requested the money, which Ford applied for last year.
