After more than a year on the run, Carol Mix, of Maywood, was taken into custody in Waterloo, Iowa, on Nov. 27 and extradited to Forest Park. Mix is a suspect in the February 2011 evening attack of a 71-year-old Oak Park woman in the Ultra Foods parking lot at 7520 Roosevelt Rd.

Forest Park police arrested a man early Monday morning and charged him with robbing and burglarizing three antique stores on Madison Street within the past three months. Oak Park police also charged Carl Griffin, 44, of Chicago, with a convenience store burglary on Aug. 11.
