Volunteers with Get Covered America will knock on hundreds of doors across Illinois this Saturday in an effort to encourage Illinois residents to sign-up for new insurance plans made available through the Affordable Care Act.
Vehicle owners now can request up to 10 temporary, overnight on-street parking passes per month — three are free and the other seven are $7 each. In addition to significantly increasing the number of passes, users can request free passes and purchase additional passes online.
Three out of 250 OPRF students who participated in the American Mathematics Competition, the longest running, most prestigious U.S. math contest for students, have qualified for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME).
Seven OPRF art students were recognized at the inaugural Illinois High School Regional Art Exhibition Art Show, held last Sunday at the Zhou Art Center in Chicago. Sixty-five schools participated in the art show and competition. Each school selected five works for display.
