Recent publicity has presented a one dimensional portrait of the Austin community. In order to help us to get a better understanding of our neighbors and learn how we can meaningfully partner with them, the Oak Park-River Forest Community of Congregations will convene a panel of community activists at our first Community Meeting this fall.

The 8th annual Wright Ride on Sunday, August 18, 2013 attracted cyclists from all over the Chicagoland area and beyond. Presented by the Oak Park Cycle Club, Visit Oak Park, and the Oak Park Regional Housing Center, this year's event was much anticipated, due to no 2012 event, and the expressed desire for the Wright Ride's return in 2013.
