Rascal is a handsome tabby that found his way to ACL twice. This friendly, sweet boy has quite the story - 3.5 years ago Rascal was abandoned in a vacant home by his owners. He was just a young kitten back then and he was quickly adopted. He found his way to back to ACL when his owners surrendered him to an animal control agency.
Mo is a big and happy guy who is looking for an active home where his size and zest for life can be appreciated! No doubt, it would have been much easier to train this guy when he was a "wee" lad but that just didn't happen. The good news is that Mo is a willing learner and would really appreciate someone who can teach him a thing or two.
It is Easter time again and many people will be looking for bunnies. Polly is a wonderful little gal, but she is not just and Easter Bunny. She wants to find that home that will give her all the love and attention she needs.
With an estimated 800,000 cats living on the streets in the Chicagoland area, we are in no danger of running out of cats or kittens for people to own. People who let their cats outside must have them spayed or neutered first if we ever hope to get some control over our booming cat population. While cats generally have their kittens in the spring time, hence the name “kitten season”, they can actually have multiple litters a year.
