Tonight, Thursday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m., Oak Park music historian David Patterson will re-introduce architecture fans to William C. Wright, the long-neglected yet highly influential composer-father of America's most famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
The Village of Oak Park is hosting public forums that will allow property owners and managers, contractors, design professionals and the general public to learn more about proposed changes. The codes are currently under consideration by the Village Board.
The search is underway to find to next 15 artists to paint murals on the railroad walls along the Green Line corridor. The project was launched in 2010 to promote creative expression and visually enhance the area.
