As part of an effort to bring more attention to businesses along South Oak Park Avenue near the expressway, the Southtown Business District hosted a Family Fun Festival on Saturday, Oct. 1. There was a strong turnout for the travel-themed event as businesses hosted activities including face painting, giveaways and bank vault tours.
