Dominican University enhanced its standing in the U.S. News & World Report rankings this year to No. 13 of 108 Midwest universities. The influential annual "America's Best Colleges" has ranked Dominican in the top tier of master's level Midwest universities for the past 16 years.
Original video programming from the Village of Oak Park, as well as its ongoing social media efforts, won top awards from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors in September.
The Pleasant District Family Triathlon (PDFT) will be twice as much fun this year. Registration doubled since the inaugural event in 2012. Taking place Sunday, September 29, 2013, the PDFT will have participants swimming, biking, and running through the Pleasant District beginning at 7am.
