I'm not going to tell you who to vote for. But, I would like to suggest something to think about before voting – equity.

The planning process for Envision Oak Park isn't over yet. There's still quite some time. What would you like to see addressed inthe comprehensive plan?

Nope, this is not a post about green technology or renewable power sources. I'm wondering how we take the energy of 58 comments and more (a huge surprise) and turn it into something real and effective.

I'm here to tell you that the achievement gap is my problem and your problem and everyone's problem.

It's that time of year when we ask ourselves, "What am I thankful for?" and hope to answer with something meaningful. I've shared a few reasons I'm giving thanks below. Let us know what you're thankful for as well.
