Their experience is chronicled in Anderson's Our Black Year: One Family's Quest to Buy Black in America's Racially Divided Economy. Join Ms. Anderson to discuss her research and her book on Sunday, November 18 at Oak Park Public Library.

Everyone is welcome to this film festival focused on the many aspects of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender life. View and discuss interesting movies, celebrate diversity, and learn new things. The 2012 GLBT Documentary Film Festival begins Sunday, October 7.
