6 hours, 300 volunteers, 1 playground
Come help the OPRF Day Nursery & Kaboom build a playground in a day.

By Sarah Corbin
Play matters! Through play, children learn about themselves and their environment. Through play, children learn to problem solve and how to get along with others. On the playground, leadership skills are developed. Through play, memories are made. Play matters ... Please join us and show that play matters to you.
On September 19th the OPRF Day Nursery is building a playground.
And there are great ways to help:
Build IT! The Day Nursery needs volunteers who want to get their hands dirty, get in the dirt, paint, put posts in the ground, use a power tool or two, or just help serve lunch. Get on the list to help build it. There is lunch, breakfast, and cake. Contact Charlene Schwar cmsrespect@hotmail.com.
SUPPORT IT! Just click on the crowd funding link and help support the efforts. The playground is sponsored by Discover Card Services & Kaboom, but there are a few other things the Day Nursery has to take care of. CLICK HERE to donate, pitch in with some pennies.
In kind sponsorship is welcome support too - contact the Day Nursery if you want to help with lunch, treats, water or whatever to help out all those volunteers.

LEND IT! The OPRF Day Nursery could still use some tools. If you have some tools you don't mind tagging and lending for the day - of course you'll get them back. Contact Charlene Schwar to get the full list. cmsrespect@hotmail.com
