After a summer of mostly youth-oriented fare, the Lake Theatre is bringing in more adult films for the fall. In addition to Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine (which is definitely adult-oriented), The World's End, The Butler, and Jobs, the Lake will be showing Spectacular Now, which has garnered positive reviews from critics. Good timing, with Labor Day weekend upon us.

It would be wonderful if they could devote one screen to art and foreign films and other movies for adults so we wouldn't have to travel into the city for them.
