PCC Community Wellness Center in Oak Park is one of three Chicagoland nonprofit finalists for a $350,000 grant from health and well-being company Humana. The other two finalists are Family Alliance Inc. in Woodstock and the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance in Chicago.

New to the Humana Communities Benefit charitable giving program, sponsored by the Humana Foundation, is the online community vote. For the first time, the public has the opportunity to weigh in on which finalist they feel is most deserving of the $350,000 grant. As of August 11, the public began voting at HumanaHCBVote.com. Voting will close on Friday, August 22, with the results accounting for 20 percent of the organization's total score during the final round of judging, which will occur later this month.
