Local residents named to Dominican University's Dean's List and Honor's List

Dominican University announced the Dean's List for the spring 2011 semester. In order for students to be qualified for the prestigious Dean's List, he or she must achieve a semester grade point average of at least 3.8 (on a 4.0 scale), based on a full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours.

Students name to the Dean's List:

  • Anthony Alequin is a resident of River Grove and a graduate of Guerin Preparatory High School.
  • Tiffany Artwohl is a resident of River Grove, and a graduate of East Leyden High School.
  • Stephen Litewski, a resident of River Grove, and a graduate of Saint Patrick High School.
  • Paulina Merchut is a resident of River Grove and a graduate of East Leyden High School.
  • Thu-Ha Pham is a resident of River Grove.
  • Anthony Pisano is a resident of River Grove and a graduate of East Leyden High School.
  • Pawel Tercha is a resident of River Grove and a graduate of Unknown or Other.
  • Michaela Hnizda is a resident of Oak Park and a graduate of Trinity Episcopal High School.
  • Brittany Scannicchio is a resident of Oak Park and a graduate of Saint Joseph High School.
  • Robin Curran is a resident of River Forest and a graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School.
  • Bryan Deziel is a resident of River Forest and a graduate of Fenwick High School.

There were also a number of students who were announced on the Honor's list for the spring semester of 2011. In order to be eligible for the honor's list, students must earn at least a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale).

Students named to the Honor's List:

  • John Buoniconti is a resident of River Grove and a graduate of East Leyden High School.
  • Sarah Vitacco is a resident of River Grove and a graduate of Guerin Preparatory High School.
  • Phyllis Arista is a resident of Oak Park and a graduate of Monte Vista Christian High School.
  • Theresa Cantafio is a resident of Oak Park and a graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School.
  • Mary Zinni is a resident of River Forest and a graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School.

Founded in 1901, Dominican University is a comprehensive, coeducational Catholic institution offering bachelor's degrees through the Rosary College of Arts and Sciences and master's degrees through the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, the Brennan School of Business, the School of Education, and the Graduate School of Social Work.
