The Community of Congregations is holding a prayer vigil this Wednesday, June 15, at 6 p.m. in Scoville Park in remembrance of the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando.
The solidarity vigil is a show of support for “solidarity and love over violence and hate,” according to the group’s Facebook invite page.
In the event of rain, the vigil will be held at First United Church of Oak Park, 848 Lake St., a block west of the park.
