By River Forest Park District

The River Forest Park District Board of Commissioners has received a resident petition signed by 94 residents asking the Board to consider installing two sand volleyball courts in the Constitution Park ice rink.  This would be a dual use facility functioning as an ice rink in the winter and sand volleyball in the summer.  Work to develop two sand volleyball courts would include adding one foot of sand in the ice rink and installing two sand volleyball standards.

The River Forest Park District has scheduled a Monday, June 6th, 6:00 PM, Public Hearing to hear resident feedback regarding installing two sand volleyball courts in the Constitution Park ice rink.  The Public Hearing will be held at the Keystone Center, 7920 Central Avenue, River Forest.

For residents who are unable to attend the Public Hearing, they may send their comments to Michael Sletten at msletten@rfparks.com
