Oak Park and River Forest High School thinks parents could use some helpful "survival" tips while they're kids are enrolled there. Karin Sullivan, OPRF's director of communications and community relations, is overseeing the creation of a parent survival guide. A former journalist and author, Sullivan says she's currently in the information-gathering phase. She's getting feedback from parents about what information they wish they had received as new OPRF parents — also about what information the school failed to provide during their kids' high school years. The guide was Sullivan's idea, and she hopes to have it completed this summer before parents — i.e. students — return to school.
Sullivan said families looking to provide feedback can email: email@example.com.
