Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care open new office in Oak Park Arms

To further support the commitment to serving Chicago and outlying communities, Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care announces the opening of an office within the Oak Park Arms facility. The official Open House for the new workspace is set for Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

The office will operate from The Oak Park Arms, an award winning, innovative Rental Retirement Community, providing senior-centered care services to older adults for over 30 years.
At the facility, the Rainbow Care Center and will enable Rainbow Hospice to better serve the needs of the Oak Park and neighboring communities.

"We are thrilled to enter this partnership and strengthen our community connection with Oak Park," said Pat Ahern, President and CEO of Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care. "This new space will enhance and expand our grief & loss services, education and outreach to the community."

Along with providing a resource for Hospice and Palliative Care services, Rainbow also plans to provide space for the Rainbow Grief & Loss Center to host counseling, grief groups and workshops in the new location.

The Open House Event for the Rainbow Hospice Oak Park Office will run from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and give members of the community a chance to meet Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care Staff as well as President and CEO, Patricia Ahern. Also scheduled to attend are Oak Park Village Clerk, Teresa Powell, and other local officials.
