The pending renovations to Roosevelt Middle School were a hot topic for over a year. The redo was tabled in March as River Forest officials came up with a comprehensive plan to address parking and traffic issues in the area.
District 90 approved the $1.271 million renovation project in April, but problems with traffic and parking remain a major concern.
Community officials requested in a news release Friday that residents take a survey regarding the community's traffic and parking problems around Roosevelt Middle School, the River Forest Public Library, Centennial Park and River Forest Tennis Club in order to better assist the traffic consultant.
Residents may access the survey by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/vrftrafficstudy. The survey will be available until June 16. Paper copies of the survey are available at Village Hall, 400 Park Ave.
