Tabitha Watson, OPRF grad, to receive Boston University's The Scarlett Key Award

Tabitha Watson, will graduate from Boston University on May 20th, 2012. She is a 2008 honors graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School where she played violin in the orchestra, and participated in the Spoken Word Poetry Program. Tabitha will graduate with dual degrees in Political Science and Journalism, with a minor in Spanish. She will graduate magna cum laude, and receive one of the highest awards from the university, The Scarlet Key Award, an award for outstanding students. Her plans are to work in Boston and go to law school.

Congratulations Ms. Watson!! We need more news like this out of the Wednesday Journal. It is out there, go dig for it. Balance with sports, and show the other side of the GAP many always like to present.
