The Magic Tree Bookstore at 141 N. Oak Park Ave. will be hosting a very special art auction of works by Oak Park's middle school students. The community is invited to see the art works in Magic Tree's big front window and bid on favorites. Art purchasers will be benefiting the Oak Park Education Foundation's Art Start (visiting artists) program. The middle school art teachers outdo themselves each year, leading students in creating beautiful bird-themed art work that looks amazing and raises funds for OPEF through silent auction bidding. The auction process will begin May 7th and continue through the month. Bids can be made anytime the shop is open< which is Mon.-Wed. 10-6, Th./Fri. 10-8, Sat. 9:30-5:30 and Sun. 12-4. For more information call (708)848-0770.
