Featuring unlikely works by established composers, the program is fittingly titled: "Look What Else They Wrote." This unique spring concert will include a popular song written by the esteemed British choral director and composer Sir David Willcocks, "You Bring Me Happiness;" an arrangement of "Younger Generation," a song written by Aaron Copland, to the words of Ira Gershwin; "Two Churches," from "Four New England Pieces" for chorus, by American jazz pianist Dave Brubeck; a Te Deum written by the "March King," John Philip Sousa; and other unique selections by Ludwig van Beethoven, Robert Schumann, and jazz great George Shearing. The chorus' grand finale will be Peter Schickele's "Concerto for Piano and Chorus: The Twelve Months" featuring guest artist, pianist, Justin Kolb. www.justinkolb.com
