'Tis the season for the "Little Yellow Jobs" to re-appear in the crowns of local trees as they make their way from their far-flung winter homes. International Migratory Bird Day celebrates the hundreds of species that journey between the Americas each year.
The migration has already begun here in the Chicago region, and Thatcher Woods is a fine spot where one might see dozens of assorted neo-tropical birds. Keep looking up....you just might see something unforgettable this spring!
