  • Fri., March 7, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.: Empty Bowls.  This is our annual fundraiser run by art teacher Pennie Ebsen and the Wheel-Throwing Club.  Since the beginning of the school year, they have produced hundreds of bowls, and each attendee gets to select and keep one. The students invite the community to join in a soup dinner in the South Cafeteria to raise money for PADS and the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.  The students are receiving more than 70 gallons of soup donations from numerous local restaurants.
  • Fri., March 14, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.: Opening reception for Panaché, the OPRF Visual Arts Department's first annual art exhibition at Cheney Mansion: Whole Foods is donating refreshments for the opening of our show featuring students' paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, ceramics, and sculptures throughout the mansion's ground floor.
