Hephzibah Children's Association is Jeff Mauro's charity of choice should he win "Guys Grocery Game," a Food Network game show hosted by Guy Fieri.

If the Food Network celebrity and Elmwood Park native wins, Hephzibah receives the $25,000 prize.

"Jeff remembers volunteering here when his mom, Pam, was a board member," wrote Mary Anne Brown, executive director of Hephzibah Children's Association, in an email.

Mauro is the host of "The Sandwhich King" and "$24 in 24" and co-hosts "The Kitchen" with Geoffrey Zakarian, Katie Lee and Sunny Anderson.

Go, Jeff. You really have culinary talent and charisma. You inherited that form you mom, the greatest cook, scholar, humanitarian, and comedian ever to come out of River Forest. By the way, Jeff is a native of Chicago, lived in RF most of his life and now resides in Elmwood Park, which is better than residing in Forest Park.
