Nick DeAlba and Bryan Mooney were awarded Bolin-Cooper Scholarships by Pat Bolin at the Huskies Hockey Banquet on Sunday, March 16. DeAlba and Mooney were awarded scholarships based on academics, leadership, community service and recommendations from their coaches.

The Bolin-Cooper Scholarship honors the memory of Ms. Bolin's son Kevin, who passed away in 2001 on the way to a hockey tournament. Kevin was a goalie on the OPRF Hockey Club's JV team. The scholarship also honors the memory of John Cooper, the starting goalie for the 1975 OPRF State Championship team who passed away in 1976.

The Bolin-Cooper Scholarship provides graduating Huskies Hockey seniors with $2,000/yr. for college expenses, including tuition, books and room and board.
