Community Leadership Program five year anniversary celebration

On Friday, March 14, The Community Leadership Program (CLP), a partnership of Dominican University's Brennan School of Business, the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation and Communityworks, celebrated its' five year anniversary at a reception at the Nineteenth Century Club in Oak Park, IL. 

At the event, Sophia Lloyd, Executive Director of the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation spoke to the audience about the past, present and future of CLP. Dr. Donna Carroll, President of Dominican University, also addressed the strong partnership among the organizations and future program recruiting. 

During the presentation, current CLP member Carmen Rivera spoke to the audience about her experience thus far in the program, while alum Tom Olis reflected on his experience and the impact the program continues to have on his life and career. 

Donna and Sophia also
 provided Grace Whiting with the "Honorary CLP Member" award for her support of the program over the past five years.
