“ReelAbilities: NY Disabilities Film Festival is the largest festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities.”
In 2007 this festival was launched, bringing award winning films by and about people with disabilities to multiple locations throughout the US and finally, in 2012, landing in Oak Park as the Chicago ReelAbilities Film Festival.
You won’t want to miss this transformative event where you can “explore film, art and performance . . . that will open your mind and heart.”
