Oak Park Public Library offers free Spring Break fun for kids, tweens and teens at all library locations

Oak Park, IL – When Oak Park schools are closed for Spring Break the week of March 24, 2014, Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake Street, has plenty of opportunities for kids of all ages to create, move and play during free programs at three neighborhood library locations.
At Dole Branch Library, 255 Augusta Street:
Just Dance Kids Party, Thursday, March 27, 1 pm, ages 3+
Kids Craft: Bunnies, Friday, March 28, 3:30 pm, ages 3
At Main Library, 834 Lake Street:
Kids Yoga, Wednesday, March 26, 10:30 am, ages 5 , Registration required
Springtime Art, Thursday, March 27, 2 pm, ages 5 , Registration required
Block Party, Saturday, March 29, 2 pm, all ages 
At Maze Branch Library, 845 Gunderson Avenue:
Crafternoon, Monday, March 24, 2 pm, ages 3
Movie Screening: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Tuesday, March 25, 1 pm, all ages
Kids Craft: Bunnies, Wednesday, March 26, 4 pm, ages 3
Movie Screening: Frozen, Thursday, March 27, 1 pm, all ages
Origami Saturday, Saturday, March 29, 10:30 am, ages 7
Just for tweens, T.O. (Tweens Only) programs continue at the Main Library with "So You Wanna," a new series for kids in grades four through six – no longer little kids and not quite teenagers. On Friday, March 28 at 3 pm, So You Wanna Be a Filmmaker? teaches tweens the basics of filmmaking, including a chance to be directors and camera operators. All tools are supplied, and registration is required. 
Also on Friday, March 28, teens age 13 are invited to get crafty at Dole Branch. At 1 pm, DIY: Ringlet Scarf combines re-use and fashion, offering teens instruction on making no-sew scarves from old t-shirts. More upcoming teen programs, news and events can be found at http://www.oppl.org/teens
