Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry is pleased to announce that complimentary family portraits will be offered to pantry clients. Family portraits are a luxury out of reach for most pantry clients, but professional photographer Matt Kosterman would like to help families in need preserve their precious memories. Families will have the opportunity to sit for a family portrait session with Kosterman and will receive a FREE 8x10 photo and eight wallet-sized photos. Because space is limited, clients will be scheduled for sessions on a first-come first-serve basis. Kosterman has done some photography work for the Pantry over the past two years but did not feel it was directly helping pantry clients. He wanted to do something with a direct impact on people's lives. "It occurred to me that if you are struggling to put food on your table, photography is probably not high on your list of expenditures. I thought making family portraits would be a nice way to use my talent to help create something of lasting value" said Kosterman.
Portrait sessions will be offered on Saturday, March 23 between 1pm and 6pm
