Grading The Season's First Snow Removal

Not a very impressive performance by the Village in removing snow following the first snowfall over the weekend. Things started on a promising note with the scrapers and salters out early Saturday morning, but nothing after 6PM therby missing the evening snow. You gotta play to the buzzer. Things got colder and there is lots of black  ice on the side streets even as I walked to the YMCA this morning.

But the sidewalks were even worse. It is tough to find the snow shovel and the salt for the first snowfall, but come on people a little effort. If you can't get your walk shoveled, then buy a condo. There are lots of them on the market.  If the Village would ticket all the home and business owners that don't shovel, we'd have a budget surplus.

As a service to everyone I have checked with the NOAA and they have confirmed that there will be more snow coming our way  soon. Get it together, Oak Park. We don't want to be responsible for Santa breaking his hip
