Members of the Auxiliary of Rush Oak Park Hospital were proud to present to Rush Oak Park Hospital President and CEO Bruce Elegant a check for $20,000 raised at the annual golf outing in September.
The majority of funds raised will be used for the beautification of the corridor leading to St. Lucy Chapel. At Rush Oak Park Hospital, the chapel plays a significant role in health and healing, providing a calm, quiet space for employees, patients and visitors to pray, reflect and worship. Funds raised in excess of the $15,000 goal will be used to promote community health.
The Auxiliary of Rush Oak Park Hospital has served the community by serving Rush Oak Park Hospital since it was founded in 1907. Auxiliary members volunteer their time and service in clinical and non-clinical areas, providing support and raising money to enhance the hospital environment, quality of care and patient satisfaction.
