Oak Park, IL – New to Oak Park Public Library's extensive online collections is Zinio, a digital magazine service that provides unlimited access to popular magazines with no holds or checkout periods. Oak Park cardholders can log in and choose from 63 popular titles, available as soon as the print editions hit the newsstand. To get started, cardholders can create a free account with Zinio and learn more by visiting http://www.oppl.org/zinio
Zinio digital magazines may be streamed online or downloaded to a computer – PC or Mac - or mobile device through the Zinio reader app. Many of the available titles include enhanced features, such as full-color pictures, interactive audio and video, and keyword searching for ease of use.
On Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 4 to 6 pm, the library's Digital Services staff will provide live, online help with Zinio during "What's a Zinio?," a Facebook and Twitter help session. User questions will be answered in real time on both social media channels.

Since launching, the most frequently checked out titles in Oak Park Public Library's Zinio collection have been Chicago Magazine, Food Network Magazine, Rolling Stone and The Economist. Titles are available in the popular areas of lifestyle, parenting, business, sports, travel, and more.
All Oak Park Public Library locations continue to offer print collections of magazines in a wide range of categories. Each location has a unique set of subscriptions, which may be enjoyed in the building, placed on hold and checked out.
