Seems like every time I turn around, I learn something new. A few years back, I learned about "sexting," but what I didn't know? I was unaware of the cavalier and naive attitude many kids have when it comes to sending sexually explicit photos or videos via cell phones or posting them on the internet.
What can parents do? Know how your child is using his or her electronic devices and keep the lines of communication open so you can educate your child. Once a photo or video is shared with one person, it can't be taken back. IT'S PUBLIC AND PERMANENT . . . forever!
