OPRF Hockey Club to host alumni games

The OPRF Hockey Club will host two alumni games in December.
The first game is scheduled for Dec. 27 for players 30 and younger (8:30 p.m.).
The second game, for players 30 and over, will be held Dec. 29 (7:45 p.m.). Both games will be played at Ridgeland Common.
Former players in the OPRF Hockey Club that wish to participate in the games should contact Sheila Javor for the 30 and younger game at thejavors@att.net, or Rick Meegan for the 30 and over game at puck_off13@yahoo.com.

I played for OPRF from 87-91. Most of my teamates peaked at 18 and never played much again. You know you get older, get married, get a belly. But I've never stopped playing. I rollerblade 20miles a day!

Thanks for your insightful comment. The hockey club has gained new leadership over the past two years. We are proud of our role in the community, as we have almost 40 players rostered and added 12 new ones this season. Let's go Huskies.
