Last Saturday, over 200 guests attended Oak Park Area Lesbian and Gay Association (OPALGA)'s 14th annual Oak Park Area Leadership (OPAL) Gala. The event took place at the 19th Century Club and honored OPRF High School's gay-straight alliance, as well as the Oak Park Public Library. Both groups were presented with awards for their leadership on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues in the Oak Park area.
