PADS' 1st Annual Howl-O-Ween Extravaganza – a Concert with a Cause - was a blast! Check out the clever and crazy costumes at http://www.westsuburbanpads.org/news/40/58/Howl-O-Ween-Extravaganza-Event-Photos – photos courtesy of Eileen Molony Photography.
Congratulations to 1st place winner of the Costume Contest "Brett Michaels" (Brett Miller). 2nd place went to "Black Swan" (Dan Patten ) and a 3rd place tie between "Blind Referees" (Tom Stefanic & Valerie Spiller) and "Toby Keith & Red Solo Cup" (Amanda & Robert Lambert). Tributosaurus rocked out three sets of all-time favorites, from Springsteen to Elvis Costello to the Bee Gees and even "99 Luftballoons"!
Many thanks to all who made this a huge fundraising success - the face painters, fortune tellers, and a mad scientist. Refreshments from Big Guys Sausage Stand, New Rose Catering, Culver's and Eli's Cheesecake, Burke Beverage, Vin Divino and Rutherford Wine Company.
Generous sponsorships from Energy Tees (awesome concert t-shirts!), Marion Street Cheese Market, Wilks Communications, Group Benefit Associates, Sears Pharmacy, Mark & Sallie Smylie, Wednesday Journal, The Book Table, Sue Crothers & Bill Gee, Home Cure Inc., Eileen Molony Photography, Nubani Trading and Prescott Group.
"Swag Bag" items from the sponsors as well as Ebert Photography, Flow Chiropractic, Magical Minds Studio, Oak Park Symphony, Oak Park Visitors Center, Pleasant Home Foundation, Schauer's Do-It-Best Hardware, SunStar Dental and Team Blonde. And thank you to the 19th Century Club for providing the perfect "haunted house" for this event.
