Early voting begins
Early voting for the Nov. 6 federal and state elections began at 9 a.m. today, Mon., Oct. 22, at Village Hall, 123 Madison St. Early votes may be cast from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., through Sat., Nov. 3. Grace-period voter registration offered
Voter registration is available through Nov. 3, at the Office of the Cook County Clerk, 5th floor, 69 W. Washington St., andfive suburban courthouse locations. Registrants must be prepared to cast their votes immediately upon registration. Two pieces of identification are required to register, with at least one including a current address. Triton offers green business forum
As part of the monthly series Sustainable Thursdays, the Triton College Sustainability Center will hold a free green business forum from 7 to 9 p.m., Thurs., Oct. 25, in Room B-204/210 of the Student Center (B-Building). Presentations will be made by area businesses and organizations that practice sustainability in their operations and/or offer a sustainable product or service.
