Coach - Personal & Business

Surfing the net, I stumbled upon US Poet Laureate Billy Collins and his poem, The Lanyard, bringing back memories of creatively inspired gifts - potholders, something handy made out of toilet paper rolls, an apron constructed out of paper napkins and ribbon, freshly picked dandelions tastefully displayed in an old pickle jar - all given to various relatives who would ohhhh and ahhh over my creative presents.

Yet I'd often reserve the best of the best for my mother.

Looking back, I can never repay her for the gift of life and her unconditional love, but I tried one time when I crafted her a picture frame made out of popsicle sticks!

What unique offerings have you gifted to your mom or dad?

I recall a (kinda ugly) clay owl that seemed to be pretty popular!
