Next week OPRF will host 26 Italian students and two teachers from our sister high school just outside of Florence, Italy. The students and teachers stay with OPRF hosts, who will then travel to Florence during Spring Break. The exchange program has been around since 1988, when it was started by an OPRF English/Italian teacher.

The Florence group will be here from Monday, October 22 till Friday, November 2. Among the activities on the agenda are attending classes; taking field trips into the city; enjoying Huskiepalooza; and spending time with their host families. When in Florence, the OPRFHS students and teachers see the sights of Florence as well as taking day trips to Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and Venice.
